The Spring/Summer 2014 Pierre Cardin eyewear collection perfectly reflects the House’s distinctive spirit: geometric shapes, jewel-like details and precious materials are the common threads running through the collection. The new sunglasses and optical frames for men and women are an inspired blend of French elegance and Italian creativity, for a sophisticated, timeless style.

These large acetate sunglasses and this optical frame convey femininity and elegance. The temples are embellished with an exclusive crescent-shaped jewel-like insert adorned with sparkling crystals, a glamorous geometric detail recalling the brand’s legendary accessories. The colour palette includes refined tones of black, dark Havana, striped Havana, Havana/grey and burgundy with shaded grey or brown lenses.

Contemporary inspirations with a sophisticated twist: these optical frames have square metal fronts with softly rounded edges, which add a note of pure elegance. The temples are decorated with a precious crescent-shaped jewel-like detail enlivened by dazzling crystals, which stand out on refined shades of colour: ruthenium front with dark grey temples, rose gold front with pearled brown or light Havana temples, chocolate front with pearled beige temples, bronze front with pearled cream temples or pink front with purple/burgundy temples.
